As punishment for your sins, you are now condemned to be transformed into a stage 1 Com Mon. But you do get to choose which one. What do you choose and why?
Also, isn’t it great that I exist?
okay I know you’re joking, but Garbodor is the only Pokémon not from generation I or VIII that has a Gigantamax form (aside from Melmetal, who is, like… generation VII and a half/honorary generation I), and I really did not need another reason to suspect that someone at Game Freak reads this blog and is actively trolling me
(I SEE YOU, TURNER, AND I STILL THINK VANILLUXE IS DUMB; YOU CAN’T STOP ME FROM DYING ON THIS HILL)
anyway, even if you were sent from hell specifically to torment me I guess I still have to answer your question, huh
I dunno if there’s a universally agreed-upon definition of “com mon”; I assume you meant at least the early-game Normal-type rodents and rodentoids, plus the early-game generic birds. I think you could also safely include Tentacool, Zubat, Magikarp, Poochyena, Wingull, Lillipup, Purrloin and Wooloo. TvTropes’ “Com Mons” page actually lists Audino as an example, but I don’t think I agree with that. And given that list, plus the assumption that I’m as likely as not to die before I ever get a chance to evolve, I think I have to go with Wooloo. I mean, Magikarp is tempting but the odds of that choice paying off are low. As a Wooloo I get to be a cute fan-favourite who lives on a picturesque farm being cared for by humans, and my only job is to have my hair cut from time to time (to my knowledge there’s no evidence that Wooloo are raised for meat in modern Galar).
Hey! :O Vanilluxe is excellent. In fact, I feel the Pokémon franchise is sorely lacking a Pistachiluxe, Cherriluxe, Matchaluxe, Licoriluxe, Saltylicoriluxe and Hazelluxe to complete the sundae. (Separate species, not “forms”!)

By the standards of farm animals sheep really do get the best deal, don’t they?

Other than the fact that if something happens to their humans and they don’t get shaven, they die of heatstroke. You can’t get any more dependent on humans than sheep do.

But on the flipside, they’re probably the most likely things on the farm to live long enough to die of natural causes. Even the humans have the substantial occupational hazards of being a farmer.

Given that goats are comparable enough to sheep, I can vouch for that (well, at least on a small-scale, non-industrial farm).

Not exactly. In the real world, lambs are slaughtered for food, and in many causes adult sheep can be slaughtered for mutton as well. Even if you’re farmed for wool, you’ll also have to endure some nasty practices sometimes too, like having your tail cut off with a knife to make shearing your butt easier and faster. Honey bees are probably the farmed animals that have it the easiest.

Being a Tentacool sounds so nice. . . .

Chris, your only opinion I can’t respect is saying garbodor is bad. Open your heart. Be nice to the trashbaby.

When I play a new gen for the first time I have a rule: 5 new pokemon on my final team (4 wholly-news and 1 regional), with 1 old pokemon I can guarantee is good to carry me in case all 5 new pokemon suck eggs.
YOU BETTER BELIEVE VANILLUXE WAS THE MVP
